and help write the next chapter of British art history
The Walpole Society is a community of scholars, curators, the art trade, students and art lovers who advance our shared knowledge of Britain's art history by publishing an annual volume of documents, catalogues, monographs and other research resources. The Society's members, authors and Trustees all play their various parts, whether financial, scholarly or organisational. Our members' subscriptions go towards the cost of producing new volumes and, in return, they receive a free copy of the current year's volume, either digitally or as a hardback book.
